Kuraray’s EVAL group will attend and present at the AMI Multilayer Packaging Film Conference being held on June 5 and 6th. The conference focuses on solutions for current technical and commercial issues including new films and materials, interlayer adhesion, practical applications of nanotechnology, biodegradable barrier films, production technology (such as coextrusion and coating), applications and markets.

Kuraray EVAL will be addressing the benefits of nanolayer technology for the multilayer packaging sector.

EVAL is the registered trademark for the ethylene vinyl alcohol (EVOH) copolymer resins manufactured and marketed by Kuraray since 1972. EVAL resins are characterized by their excellent processability and outstanding barrier properties. The key to this remarkable balance is the combination of the proper copolymerization ratio of ethylene to vinyl alcohol, the carefully selected degree of polymerization and the unique proprietary manufacturing process used in the production of EVAL copolymers.

These unique polymers are particularly suited for food, medical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, agricultural and industrial packaging and automotive applications.
