The conference will take place from the 16-18 September 2013 at the Hotel Meliá Castilla in Madrid, Spain. Agricultural Film 2013 discusses industry issues and presents research findings and possible solutions to the problems faced in the agriculture. It brings together agricultural and horticultural plastic film designers, researchers, manufacturers and the supply chain to the industry and provides a forum to network with professionals active in this challenging industry. Mr. Chow will present results of a 270-day corn storage trial conducted using barrier flexible silos containing a layer of EVAL™ EVOH. CO2 and temperature trends were monitored inside the bag. Various corn attributes including moisture content, fungi, density and germination power were also monitored. The study demonstrated that corn stored in barrier silos with EVOH, particularly in the case where the corn is stored in wet condition, possessed better quality attributes than corn stored in silos without EVOH.
